The time since I joined in 2020 has really been só good for me. I was at quite a low point then, recovering from a divorce. Your inspiring attitude and positive thoughts made such a difference to my confidence! I felt that I am not "oor die muur", but still beautiful and special.

My experience at the studio has been nothing short of amazing. I went from being a mediocre teach-yourself belly dancer to becoming show ready in just a few months. Ioanna is such an amazing teacher! Not only is she a perfectionist so you will never be below standard, but she has heart and loves what she does and that passion spreads into her choreography or even a simple class drill. There is no isolation or exclusion; Ioanna pays attention to each and every student equally, she always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is in top form and happy. This studio is not only a dance class for me but a family.

This studio is definitely built on love, passion, creativity and absolute empowerment! You are free to be whoever you choose. You can express yourself in a way that is pure art! I’ve grown so much not just as a dancer but as a person! Learning to love myself and my body is all thanks to Ioanna! This studio is everything and more!!

I've always wanted to learn to dance, but you mostly need a partner and mine, well, he just doesn't feel the rythm. Belly dancing always look so sensual and I decided to try! My word was I intimidated when I saw the massive mirror and I had to face myself. In the beginning I really couldn't look at myself, don't like what I see. But the more I go the more I catch myself stealing a glimpse here and there.

I thought about what to say because there are so much to say… people sometimes ask me what my hobby is. I use to say 'belly dance'. Then I realised it is so much more than a mere 'hobby'. It is a life journey for me. Belly dance enriches me body and soul. I am part of an amazing sisterhood with Ioanna as teacher, mentor and friend. Together we sweat and laugh and panic and sometimes cry. Ioanna and my belly sisters... thank you for this incredible journey!
